Flowers in bold shades of burgundy, orange and purple — a joyful, naive painting that leaves no one indifferent. In this piece you'll notice delicate transparencies in the leaves, created during an early, exploratory stage of my artistic journey. Over time I came to see that this very “imperfection” adds lightness and luminosity to the painting — as if light is passing right through the leaves.
